One of the many new features delivered in Exchange 2013 SP1 and Exchange 2016 is a new method of connectivity to Outlook referred to as MAPI/HTTP. This protocol was first delivered with the update to Exchange 2013 called SP1 (otherwise known as CU4 or 15.0.847.32), however it needed to be manually enabled. It was also rolled out to Office 365 in May of 2015. Do you need help configuring MAPI/HTTP in Exchange Server 2016? Email, and we’ll be happy to assist. For more info see –.

Hi All, I am new to the exchange community.Current setup is Exchange 2010,AD 2008. 1 hubcas server and 2 mailbox servers in DAG. One of my MAC user is having problem in configuring Outlook 2016 in his MAC.The error I get in Exchange server is below: Inbound authentication failed with error Logon denied for the receive connector client (Ex hubcas server Name). The authentication method is NTLM. As I try to find the solution I found out that the are 2 receive connectors in my exchange server hub/cas. One default and another one name is Client and both are enabled with different setting. Please check the Images for reference. My question is that: 1.Is it ok to have both the receive connectors enabled.

2.Logon denied messages is coming from which connector and which connector is being used by my clients. 3.How can I solve the Mac user Problem. Hi, Exchange has these two receive connectors installed by default and they should both be enabled. Are you adding an Exchange account into Outlook 2016 for Mac and not a POP or IMAP account?
