There is also wayy too much stuff going on with spells, special powers, etc.
Shame on you Ironhide. You had a great thing going with the first two, but you got greedy. Stick with KR1 or KRF. Seriously Was bored so got into the free KR and was completely hooked the animation and graphics are addictive, its a fun game. Seeing they had a sequel I wanted the latest version for 2.99, I was expecting better for my money, the elves theme is wack they should at least allow you to switch kingdoms/species, the hero graphics have been watered down, there was so much detail in part one, and the microtransation is just cringe worthy, 5.99 for a hero?
If you are willing to do that get part 1 for free and buy heros. The Best TD Game Out There If you're looking for an insanely addictive and fun tower defense game, stop it! You're not going to find a better one out there (other than KR Frontiers perhaps) than Kingdom Rush Origins. The first one was good, but the last two installments are excellent. The game runs smoothly on my Android and rarely ever glitches. The in game purchase are actually worth it too, just be sure to wait for a sale.
Sales usually happen around the holidays and are a great way to save extra money on the in game purchases. Not as good as 2 but still great I think Kingdom Rush 2 is the best in the series. They changed the gameplay mechanics and the graphics and why?
Why fix something that isn't broken. Also, the option to purchase better heroes and power-ups with real money is a slap in the face to gamers everywhere.
I am sure little kids everywhere have bankrupted mommy and daddy. It's addictive enough to warrant a little extra help and many people will gladly spend away just to have an easier outing. An awesome game that is tarnished by the 'freemium' bug. Great prequel to an awesome game Just when you thought that it couldn't get any better, it did. The game was well worth the price and provides game players with an opportunity to play from the elven point of view with new and returning characters.
The heroes do seem to be more pricey which is a downside to the game but the game play experience is still amazing, improving aspects from the previous version whilst still providing game players with all new features. I would highly recommend for hours of enjoyable game play. Story+Gameplay I picked this game up on a whimsy while browsing the store on my new phone.
Im an old school LegionTD/GreenTD (Warcraft 3) kind of guy and a lover of a good 'ole TD. This game takes the cake with me for a mobile TD. The animations are solid, story is what makes this game for me, i have never seen a story implemented so well into a TD. I love that you have that story as an added bonus to keep you interested in the game. The upgrade system for your towers is also awesome, along with the tower levelling. If you don't know about Ironhide, you should!
Kingdom Rush was evolutionary, and is still the best game ever made for mobile gaming. The developers at Ironhide clearly love what they do, and their passion shows itself in their creativity, uniqueness and focus on the users experience. This is another game that others will judge theirs against, and to be quite frank, try to copy. I can't wait to see their new game this year, and am a huge fan of these talented and very artistic developers.
Just download all of the Kingdom Rush series and thank me later! Crashing forced me to reinstall and lose progression I played the other Kingdom Rushes on my iPad and even bought more heroes to support the developer since I loved playing these games so much.
Was very excited to play this one on my new Dell Venue 10 7000 android tablet. However, as I was progressing in the game I noticed one day the game would not load. I would initiate the game only to have it flash black and crash. I tried all I could to troubleshoot (reboot the device, research google), but the only way to fix it was uninstalling and reinstalling, and I knew doing so would delete my progress. And I was right. I didn't play the game for over a week cause I didn't want to restart. Because I really enjoy this game, I decided to start over.
However this time around I logged into my Google account hoping that maybe it saves progression in the cloud. Eventually got further than I originally did before I experienced problems. But just today I experienced the same issue.
Was forced to reinstall again which again deleted my save. Hoped logging into Google would restore my save, but didn't. To summarize, I will no longer play this game or any other game from this dev until they fix the crash issue AND implement cloud progress saving. Excellent Sequel This game is great the best kingdom rush yet.
