It is exactly what I needed and does what it is supposed to do. You plug it in via USB, (no external power required), an icon comes up on screen, it opens Time Machine, and off it goes! I don't want any hassles with back up and it should be easy - and this WD is. It's also very small, so sits neatly next to my MacBook Pro on the desk and then slips into my bag when I need to take it with me. I'm very happy with this product and hope it keeps up the good work for many years to come!
